Remote Monitoring & Management Disclosure

Last updated: 03‑19‑2026

This disclosure explains how TigerGuard IT uses Remote Monitoring & Management (“RMM”) tools in the delivery of IT services. It is intended to provide transparency into our general practices and is incorporated by reference into applicable service agreements and sales orders.

By engaging TigerGuard IT for services that include remote monitoring, maintenance, or management, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described below.

Use of Remote Monitoring & Management Tools

To deliver reliable, proactive IT services, TigerGuard IT utilizes remote monitoring and management software tools provided by third‑party vendors. These tools enable us to support, maintain, and secure client systems efficiently and consistently.

RMM tools are a standard component of managed and co‑managed IT services.

Monitoring & Maintenance Activities

RMM tools allow TigerGuard IT to remotely monitor the health, performance, and security status of covered systems. This monitoring helps identify issues such as system failures, resource constraints, security concerns, or missing updates so they can be addressed proactively.

Maintenance activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • System and software updates
  • Performance optimization
  • Security remediation
  • Service availability checks

Remote Access

RMM tools provide the ability to remotely access covered systems when necessary to deliver contracted services. This access may be attended or unattended depending on the nature of the task being performed.

TigerGuard IT makes reasonable efforts to minimize disruption to business operations and, when practical, perform intrusive activities outside of normal business hours or in coordination with end users, subject to applicable service agreements and service level commitments.

Information Collected

As part of providing monitoring and management services, limited system and device information may be collected and processed. This information is used solely for service delivery, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and security purposes.

Data collection is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide contracted services and is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and security obligations.

Security of Access

TigerGuard IT implements administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect access to RMM systems and client environments. Access to management tools is restricted to authorized personnel and used exclusively for legitimate service purposes.

Third‑Party Platforms

RMM tools used by TigerGuard IT are provided by third‑party vendors. From time to time, TigerGuard IT may change platforms in order to maintain service quality, security, or operational effectiveness. When such changes occur, reasonable notice will be provided where appropriate.

Patch Management & Risk Acknowledgment

Software and operating system updates are an important part of maintaining secure and reliable systems. While updates are applied using reasonable care and industry‑standard practices, software changes released by third‑party vendors may occasionally result in unintended side effects, including service disruption.

TigerGuard IT cannot guarantee the behavior of third‑party software but will make reasonable efforts to apply updates responsibly and address issues that arise.

Additional Terms

More detailed information regarding RMM activities, permissions, and service delivery obligations is outlined in applicable service agreements, endorsements, and statements of work agreed to between the parties.
